Ever wonder how to give your photos a film-inspired look without the film camera?
If you want a western film edit that’s fast and customizable, you're in the right place. The Western Film Kit includes one click Lightroom presets that give you an instant foundation, then layers and finishers you can stack to shape the final look. This guide breaks down the order I use in Lightroom so you can move quickly and still keep it creative.

One-Click Base Lightroom Presets
What is a base preset?
A base preset is the core look in the kit. Use it as a full one click edit, or skip it and use stackers only if that’s more your style.

Lightroom Preset Stackers
What is a preset stacker?
A preset stacker is an add on preset you apply to shape one specific part of the edit, like fade, grit, warmth, haze, or color accents. You can use stackers on their own for a quick vibe shift, or mix and match them with base presets (and other stackers) to build a look that feels uniquely yours.
And because Jaide and Jett is a system, our base presets and stackers can be mixed across all current packs and kits, so you are never locked into one “set” of looks.
Western Kit Preset Stackers (Lightroom)
1978
Vintage red-undertones.
Blue Turqs
Nostalgic cool tones.
Coco Ropes
Moody warmth.
Cowboy Coffee
Moody neutral.
Faded Western
Faded cool tones.
First Rodeo
Warm green film.
Gold Buckles
Moody gold tones.
These stackers are strong on purpose. If you want a softer effect, lower the preset amount using Lightroom’s opacity slider. This works especially well if you're layering multiple stacks.
Western Kit Preset Finishers (Lightroom)
X Western Fade
A soft, film inspired finish that adds subtle fade and that worn in feel.
X Western Grit Finish
A gritty finish that adds western inspired grain and texture.
Finishers are your final step. Use them to polish the look after your base preset and any stackers, whether you keep it simple or build a custom edit recipe.

The Western Kit (2026 Edition) Dusty, sun-faded, and full of story. The Western Kit brings vintage film warmth into a modern workflow, blending raw desert grit with soft cinematic depth. It’s built to sit on top of your Natural base, so the vibe shifts while your foundation stays solid.

You’ve got the full Western Film Kit workflow now: start with a one click base preset, stack when you want to get more artistic, then finish with fade or grit to lock in the final look. Keep it simple when you want speed, or mix and match until it feels like your signature.
